چکیده

Yellowfin seabream, Acanthopagrus latus , is one of the most important species in terms stock enhancement China. However, using metagenomic techniques to explore feeding habits and stomach microbiome yellowfin seabream still rare. The objective this work was study sea bream from Daya Bay through analysis different weight classes (?50, 50–100, >100 g). Whole-metagenome shotgun sequencing morphological observation were used investigate contents. dietary composition community A. examined. In study, 153 detected eukaryotic contents bream. At level, Mytilus edulis only identified by both observation. proportion fish bivalves over 98%, but diet changed little with body size. Larimichthys crocea Scophthalmus maximus Seriola dumerili abundant among all samples. total, 285 Bacterium 2013Ark19i, bacterium 2013Arg42i Acinetobacter baumannii first reported bream, microbiomes. There no difference biodiversity microbiomes sizes. Overall, mainly consists bivalves. use metagenomics a promising approach for assessing results derived can provide information evaluating ecology Bay.

Assessment of Gill Pathological Responses in Yellowfin Sea Bream (Acanthopagrus Latus) Under Aeromonas Hydrophila Exposure

Bacterial diseases in cultured fish are considered the main problem with aquaculture system in Iran. The gills are multifunctional organs responsible for respiration, osmoregulation, nitrogenous waste excretion, and acid-base balance. Moreover, they are very sensitive to water contamination. Aeromonas hydrophila (A. hydrophila) is an opportunist pathogen responsible for ...

Alterations in the Plasma Thyroid and Cortisol Hormones in Yellowfin Sea bream, Acanthopagrus latus, following exposure to Benzo(α)Pyrene

The goal of this research is to study the effect of benzo-alpha-pyrene (BαP) as a pollutant on the plasma levels of cortisol, thyroxin (T4), and triiodothyronine (T3) hormones, and the T3/T4 ratio in the yellowfin sea bream, Acanthopagrus latus. The BαP (50 mg kg-1) in vegetable oil was peritoneally injected. Blood samples were obtained from the treated and control groups after 3 and 72 hr, res...

The reproductive biology and feeding habits of yellow fin seabream, Acanthopagrus latus (Houttuyn, 1782), in the Northern Persian Gulf

Monthly samples of Acanthopagrus latus (Hottuyn, 1782) were used to determine (1) feeding habits and (2) reproduction characteristics of the species in relation to its size, spawning season and sex in the Northern part of the Persian Gulf from January to December 2013. The smaller length classes of all samples were dominated by male fish. All gonads examined, were ovotestis during the spawning ...
